Over two days, partners from across the Baltic and North Sea travelled to the SUBMARINER Network for Blue Growth office in Berlin for discussions and presentations. A guided tour of the Berlin Wall Memorial offered a break from the meeting room and a moment to reflect on why we do this work: building bridges between our communities and overcoming borders and barriers.
Together we set out how we will work over the coming years to help speed up the Mission in the region, building on what BlueMissionBANOS and BlueActionBANOS have achieved.
The plan includes setting up twelve National Mission Hubs that bring together ministries, funders, innovators, researchers and citizens, and bringing back the Mission Arenas as spaces for workshops, pitching and demonstrations.
